Welcome to McSweeney's Kennel!

My name is Kathleen Sweeney. We are located in Cary, NC (Right outside of Raleigh, NC), and also Sound Beach, NY (Long Island, 1hour from NYC). We are a small home-based kennel with about one or two litters a year. I couldn't do it all without the help and support of my daughter Katie, and my many breeder friends.

At McSweeney's Kennel, we have been breeding, showing, and training Labrador Retrievers, as well as Golden Retrievers for over 15 years. The main goal in our breeding program is to improve the breed while maintaining the true Labrador or Golden Retriever temperament. A lot of time and dedication goes into research when planning a litter.
Our goal is to produce a litter of healthy, even tempered, beautiful puppies.
